Job Description
Role Purpose: To assist with design, development, and support of IT systems including website and graphic design.
Responsibilities:
IT Service Management (Call logging, assigning calls to support Tier 2 or 3, call tracking and end-user follow-up etc.)
Assist in IT vendors service management (service requests forwarding and followups)
Resolution of 1st line support calls such as: Login failures, password resets, Information requests (How to guides)
IT Inventory Management (IT assets, new purchases, loan equipment etc.)
Daily Health Checks (Servers, Backups, Network etc.)
Problem Management (analyze incidents trends and identify underlying problem for continuous improvement)
Compile incident management reports
Website design and development (Graphic Design, Website content maintenance and update)
Analyze current ETL processes, design new system integration models to optimize business efficiencies
Administration duties as delegated
Execute other tasks as delegated
Requirements:
Qualification in: Computer Science / Software Development / IT or similar NQF level 6
Website and graphic design knowledge required
General understanding of database management and system integration / interfacing
No formal experience required: internal training will be provided
