Job description

Graduate opportunities are available within the Presidential Infrastructure Coordinating Commission (PICC) Department for the Young Graduate Program in our Sandton offices and Pretoria. These positions are based on a fixed term contract of 2 years (24 months).

This 2-year Graduate Development Program will equip outstanding young graduates with the skills and experience necessary to jump-start their careers in all aspects of planning, delivery, management, measurement and financing and financing of infrastructure investments.

Responsibilities:

Assisting program managers and management teams with assignments and tasks according to the focus areas described above
Conduct research and develop relevant reports
Participate in coordination meetings with project owners and other critical stakeholders related to infrastructure investment, financing and development
Contribute to the preparation of documents such as work programs, briefings, presentations, concept notes or any other document as required to ensure that documents are accurate and conform to ISA format and style

Contribute to solving problems and problems that may arise in the implementation of projects

Providing general administrative and office support, including event calendar maintenance and meeting minutes
Requirements:

Bachelor/Degree in:

Economy,
statistics,
Actuarial Sciences,
Law, Social Sciences,
international relations,
development finance,
accountancy,
Psychology,
Engineering and other professions in the built environment
Competencies:

Write a good report
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Able to work effectively and efficiently under constant pressure

Ability to meet tight deadlines while delivering quality results
Ability to communicate at all levels
Able to work independently and in a team
