The Engineering Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM) artisan automotive electrician in the VUP area needs a suitably qualified owner who shall plan and implement programs for the maintenance and repair of underground mining TMM and auxiliary equipment and systems in accordance with practices and equipment of solid engineering. specs.

-Your responsibilities will include:
Plan activities according to production schedules and resource allocation as needed.
Help ensure that TMM automotive electrical installations and equipment meet required design, installation and maintenance standards.
Ensure that all evaluations of potential hazards of the operation of equipment and facilities are carried out in accordance with the procedures.
Maintenance and repair of all TMM automatic electrical equipment in the underground, specifically with respect to the following: Drills (DD320, DD321, DD321, DD420, DD421 and DD422i), Cable Bolts (DS421, DS422i and DS412i), Roof (DS411), Maclean Bolter (946), LHD (LH410, LH517i and LH621i), Dump Trucks (TH430), TH540 and TH551i), Shotcrete, Manitou and Agicars, etc.
Ensure fixed, mobile and transportable TMM automotive electrical equipment associated with hot work or live testing, installed or operated, is properly certified to operating standards.
Make sure the equipment is suitable for use in the underground mine.
Ensure that maintenance and overhaul of TMM automotive electrical equipment installed and / or operated or intended to be installed and / or operated are in accordance with the relevant standards.
Align with planned maintenance, including keeping relevant records for all automotive electrical equipment and installations in the area of responsibility.
Compliance with policies and procedures.
Ensure effective communication with relevant stakeholders to minimize production delays.
Compliance with safety, health and environmental standards to achieve ZERO HARM.
Training and development of subordinates.
This role is located in the VUP engineering department at the CL level and is dependent on the Senior Engineering Foreman.
-Grade 12 / N3 / Equivalent grade NQF Level 4 with pure math and physical science
Relevant Business Certificate Electrician / Auto Electrician
Minimum 3 years of experience as a car electrician or 5 years of combined experience as a car electrician and electrician in an underground mining environment.
Experience in TMM Mining equipment.
Solid knowledge in the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of the following equipment: Drills (DD320, DD321, DD321, DD420, DD421 and DD422i), Cable Bolts (DS421, DS422i and DS412i), Roof Bolts (DS411), Bolts Maclean (946), LHD (LH410, LH517i and LH621i), Dump Trucks (TH430), TH540 and TH551i), Shotcrete, Manitou and Agicars, etc.
Solid knowledge and experience in the maintenance and repair of PDS, POIs, cameras, diesel machine lighting circuits and real-time systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills, especially with regard to automatic electrical problems in UG TMM mining and auxiliary equipment.
Planning and control of maintenance schedules according to SAP PM.
