South Africa Auditor General (AGSA) Invites Unemployed Graduates to Apply for the 2022 Forensic Apprenticeships
Closing date: November 30, 2021
Job type: Full time
Location: South Africa
Job description
Using the existing structures and success of the TA program, we have developed a skills-specific program that will help us develop our own in-house forensic talent. This will create a pipeline not just for the IBU, but for the organization as a whole as this skill will add value to any future audit and to the entire industry.
Such a program would also contribute to the forensic environment by developing skills for the public and private sectors, strengthening our position as a training organization and helping transform scarce skills and the employability of South Africans.
The program will also enhance the positive impact that forensic skills have on the audit environment, and such an endeavor could position the AGSA as a leader in this field.
The program is a bespoke 3-year development vehicle focused on building integrative skills audit capacity with niche exposure in integration, investigations and material irregularities, including professional exams to assess competence culminating in a recognized professional qualification of FP(SA).
