2021 WCED Graduate Internship Opportunity

Western Cape Government

Youth program (focused on ages 34 and under) and will provide the opportunity to gain practical work experience over a period of twenty-four (24) months.

Postgraduate Internship Program [2021/2022 – 2022/2023]
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R6 083.70. Women and people with disabilities are especially encouraged to apply.

Requirements Diploma or 3-year degree (NQF 6 or 7) in one of the following:

Financial management systems
Financial management
Accounting and auditing
Human Resources Management / Development
Office of Public Management Management and Technology
LLB / Labor Relations Management
Project management duties
The intern will be responsible for assisting staff with general office tasks, including but not limited to research, data entry, archiving, and general coordination.

Provide general administrative support at your chosen office.

Knowledge and skills Computer literacy:

MS Office package (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), e-mail system, Internet. Interpersonal skills.
Listening skills
Ability to collect and process information.
Good verbal and written communication skills in 2 official Western Cape languages.
