South Africa Energy Coal (SAEC) invites suitable candidates for the 2021 Scholarship Program. Location: Mpumalanga.

South Africa Energy Coal (SAEC) operations are located near eMalahleni (formerly Witbank) and Middelburg, in the Mpumalanga coal mines. SAEC is 92% owned by South32, with the remaining 8% owned by a Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment consortium, led by Phembani Holdings.

Requirements

Community scholarship:

South African Citizen
SAEC local community member (near eMalahleni and Middelburg)
Currently in Matric OR have completed Matric
Study or intend to study for a bachelor’s degree or diploma in any field of study
Study or intend to study at a recognized community college in South Africa
Employee scholarship child:

South African Citizen
Son of a member of the local SAEC community (near eMalahleni and Middelburg)
Currently in Matric OR have completed Matric
Study or intend to study for a bachelor’s degree or diploma in any field of study
Study or intend to study at a recognized community college in South Africa
