TFG (The Foschini Group) is proud to participate in the YES (Youth Employment Service) initiative, which aims to empower young South Africans by providing them with practical workplace experience and meaningful exposure to the world of retail.
This opportunity is designed to give youth the chance to learn, grow, and develop the skills required to succeed in the workplace. Over a 12-month period, successful applicants will gain on-the-job training, mentorship, and exposure to the daily operations of a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.
Who Should Apply?
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:
- Age: You must be between the ages of 18 and 28.
- Education: A minimum of Grade 10 is required. However, having a Matric certificate will be an added advantage.
- Employment Status: You must not have been permanently employed with the same employer for more than one year.
- Education Status: You must not be enrolled in full-time studies during the period of employment (April 2025 – March 2026).
- YES Programme Status: You must not have participated in or been registered with the YES programme previously.
- Availability: You must be available to commit to a full 12-month fixed-term contract.
- Transport and Accommodation: You must be responsible for your own transportation and accommodation if required.
In line with our commitment to transformation and diversity, preference will be given to candidates from designated groups as defined in the Employment Equity Act.
