Main Purpose of the Programme
Mediclinic Southern Africa is offering a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about healthcare to apply for the Higher Certificate in Nursing, specializing in Auxiliary Nursing. This is a full-time, one-year structured training programme that leads to registration in the category of Auxiliary Nurse as per the Nursing Act (GN R.169 of 8 March 2013).
Upon successful completion of the programme, candidates will be eligible to register with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) and work as a qualified Auxiliary Nurse in various healthcare settings. Graduates will be equipped with the essential skills and knowledge to provide basic nursing care and support to professional nurses and healthcare teams across public and private healthcare facilities.
