ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP ROLE
We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team through a structured Admin Learnership programme located in Brand se Baai. This programme is aimed at individuals who are eager to build foundational experience in administrative functions within a dynamic work environment. The learnership offers hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world exposure to administrative practices within a global organization.
The successful learner will work closely with the site operations team and will gain practical experience in a variety of office support and clerical duties, while learning about the mining services sector and tyre management systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Admin Learnership role involves a wide range of responsibilities focused on ensuring smooth and efficient administrative operations. These include:
- Adhering to company and client policies, standard operating procedures, and quality assurance guidelines at all times.
- Accurately managing and filing financial documentation, including invoices, payment records, and other transactional paperwork.
- Delivering professional communication services such as answering calls, relaying messages, and managing basic customer service inquiries.
- Operating standard office equipment (e.g. fax machines, photocopiers, shredders) and ensuring they are well maintained.
- Coordinating office maintenance and cleanliness, including arranging repairs and managing supply inventories.
- Assisting with basic secretarial duties, such as document typing, data capturing, scanning, and photocopying.
- Supporting payroll administration by helping to compile, process, and file employee timesheets.
- Managing petty cash requests and reconciliations, performing banking-related administrative tasks as needed.
- Assisting in coordinating local travel and accommodation arrangements for site personnel.
- Supporting Health and Safety compliance by reporting hazards, participating in safety briefings, and correctly using all required PPE.
- Participating in emergency drills, safety inspections, and workplace safety meetings.
- Carrying out additional administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors to support daily site operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Requirements:
- A National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) is essential.
License Requirements:
- A valid South African Code 08 driver’s license (light vehicle).
Experience:
- Prior work experience is not required; however, up to 1 year of exposure to an administrative or office-based environment will be advantageous.
