Job description
The Transformation Intern will assist in the compliance and monitoring of various B-BBEE transformation plan initiatives in line with the scorecard, in areas such as ownership, preferential procurement, enterprise and supplier development, management control, skills development and socio-economic development.
main responsibilities
Collect quarterly BBEEE reports for the Director to present to all EXCO members and divisions.
Continually assist in refining the company’s standard operating documents for all areas of the scorecard in terms of the latest legislative changes and updates,
Assistance in training managers and employees on the BBBEE scorecard,
Generate and distribute preferential purchasing reports monthly in collaboration with the purchasing manager and all business owners or element owners.
Overseeing and Managing the BBBEE System, BEE123
Assisting the purchasing manager where necessary,
Assist in managing CSR projects;
Provide Employment Equity reports to the Director to ensure scorecard requirements are met and work with HR to submit the EE report to the Labor Department.
Assist in all skills development initiatives e.g. employee training, graduation program, etc.
Assist with job skills plan reports.
Look for opportunities for the development of black businesses and assist in the development of such businesses.
Ensure audit and verification processes are performed annually and coordinate the process with the verification agency from the first to the last verification stage.
BBBEE tracking and monitoring ensures that information data is captured and maintained.
Requirements:
A completed degree/diploma in:
HR / Human Resources,
Supply Chain or Procurement
Small Business Management
Competencies:
Effective project management skills
Excellent English communication skills – written and spoken
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Team player
Computer literate with Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel)
