Job posting summary:
Compile and execute category plans in accordance with category group strategy, goals, and guidelines on format / margin and assortment strategies.
Optimize the performance of assigned categories by having clear category plans that are aligned with strategy, category group guidelines, and customer-focused.
Minimum requirements:
Must have grade 10 or 12
The experience of buying and managing categories will be advantageous
Communication skills
Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage
Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
Duties and responsibilities :
Cleaner job responsibilities:
Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around residences or office buildings.
Clean floors and rooms. including mopping dust, wet mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, lifting larger objects off the floor, and cleaning glass and window stains.
Cleans restrooms, including dispenser restocking, trash emptying, fixture cleaning and sanitizing, mirror cleaning, stain cleaning on partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
Vacuum, empty trash, and replace liners.
Installs, stores and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
Description of the cashier position:
The main function of a cashier is to assist customers in the checkout process in the store. Primary duties include recording sales, packaging items, requesting price controls, honoring coupons, collecting payment, and giving appropriate change.
Responsible for counting the contents of the cash register drawer at the end of each shift, keeping receipts, records, and withdrawals. You may be responsible for checking materials and supplies and reporting when stocks are low.
Implement and execute tactical purchasing plans, ensuring alignment with category-specific growth strategies as well as Pick n Pay’s overall business strategy.
Integrate with store operations and store teams to drive category plan implementation.
Communicate regularly with suppliers to mutually share financial and performance criteria; use metrics to identify performance gaps and hold suppliers accountable for achieving financial and other mutually agreed-upon goals; Develop and implement contingency plans to close performance gaps.
Competencies:
Knowledge of the fundamentals of purchase and the costs of the products.
Ability to understand recipe making and take into account various related costs, from raw materials to packaging.
