Description of the practices
The Nelson Mandela Foundation hereby invites applications for internship opportunities that exist at the Foundation. Applications are invited from unemployed young South Africans between the ages of 18 and 30, with relevant national degree/diploma qualifications.
Successful interns are expected to enter into a 12-month contract. Interns will receive a monthly stipend.
The following internship programs are open for applications:
Communications, Marketing, and Public Relations Interns
Requirements:
Have a Communications or Journalism qualification and/or relevant writing or communications experience in the NGO, Media or Marketing sector (or related qualification)
Production and editing interns
Requirements:
Possess a qualification in Videography and Editing and/or relevant production experience in the creative, media or other industries (or related qualification).
Archives and Research Interns
Requirements:
Be in possession of a degree in Information Sciences, History or Heritage Management (or a related degree).
CEO Office Interns
Requirements:
Have a BA or BA Law degree or final year student (or related degree).
Finance and Procurement Interns
Requirements:
3-year degree/diploma or equivalent in accounting/finance-related disciplines.
Mandela Day Interns and Outreach
Requirements:
Possess a degree in Social Sciences or Commerce or currently studying for
