NCIB internship graduate at Nedbank
The incumbent to assist with the implementation of the business investment philosophy through data analysis, research and support functions in line with the Nedbank Group’s strategy, through the Corporate and Investment Banking (NCIB) Graduate Program of Nedbank.
Job Responsibilities
Look for opportunities to improve business processes; models and systems identifying and recommending effective ways of operating and adding value to Nedbank.
Develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the achievement of work objectives.
Make investment recommendations using quantitative and qualitative analysis. Identify and interpret relevant information using logic to look for cause and effect relationships.
Contribute to a culture that is conducive to achieving transformation goals by participating in Nedbank’s culture-building initiatives (eg staff surveys, etc.).
Participate and support corporate social responsibility initiatives to achieve key business strategies.
Identify and recommend opportunities to improve processes; systems and policies and support the implementation of new processes; policies and systems.
Assess the performance of the fund/investment through regular financial performance reviews.
Develop mastery of the software to deliver the required results.
Develop strong product and industry knowledge and understand the regulatory framework.
Understand and embrace the Nedbank vision and demonstrate the values through interaction with the team and stakeholders.
Enhance personal capability and stay abreast of developments in your field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression for yourself through input and feedback from managers.
Ensuring personal growth and enabling effectiveness in the performance of roles and responsibilities by ensuring that all learning activities are completed; Practiced experience and certifications obtained and/or maintained within specified timeframes.
