LOGISTICS / STOCK CONTROLLER

Johannesburg – Responsible for ensuring the correct amount of hardware is received from vendors and the correct GRV processing and capture in SAP. Make sure merchandise is securely insured and delivered to internal or external Customers. Manage the delivery of merchandise purchased from external suppliers and shipped directly to other countries.

Experience and qualifications:
Minimum qualifications
Registration
A stock controller diploma is preferable

Minimal experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a stock control role.

Other requirements
Valid driver’s license

Role / Responsibilities:
RECEIVE HARDWARE
Chores
Ensure correct quantity and quality of hardware is received from vendors against purchase order
Inspect the delivered parts for damage and report any missing or damaged parts to the supplier.
Process vendor invoice in SAP, increase GRV before submitting to Finance for payment
Ensure correct labeling of stocks before storing them in warehouses.

KPI
Match the vendor invoice to the company purchase order
Get replacement item or credit note within 3 days
At the close of business
Accurate processing in the stock ledger
Items are properly stored, packaged and labeled prior to distribution

LOCAL DELIVERIES
Chores
Receive sales orders, generate a delivery note in SAP and schedule delivery to the Customer or supplier
Supervise the precise load of deliveries, returns, repairs and collections from suppliers against delivery note or claims.
Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering on time and informing sales / projects of any delays
Receive a signed delivery or pick-up note from the courier
