industrial engineering Manager.

A company based in Balmoral (between Witbank and Bronkhorstspruit, about a 50-minute drive from Pretoria) is looking for a director of industrial engineering. The successful incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the entire operation and optimizing and managing production at a high level in the manufacturing plant.

Main job function
Optimize production
Direct and coordinate production and all plant operations.
Direct and coordinate plant maintenance and repairs
Evaluate and maintain the quality of production.
Prepare and develop cost estimates and detailed budgets and monitor expenses against them on an ongoing basis
Supervise and implement company procedures.
Hire, train, mentor, and direct support staff, including writing performance evaluations and optimizing staffing teams
Discuss and design the project specifications
Make detailed plans to achieve goals
Establish and implement detailed administrative policies, procedures and standards and monitor compliance with them on an ongoing basis
Analyze and improve the results and processes of the plant.
Inform senior management regarding the above responsibilities and prepare detailed reports when necessary
