Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant – HVAC/air conditioning experience advantageous
Department: Finance
Location: Kempton Park, Spartan

Salary: R20CTC

Preferably someone that resides in the East Rand
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit VAT201 on a monthly basis
Reconcile intercompany debtor/creditor/loan/investor accounts on a monthly basis
Review payroll balance sheet account recons
Prepare supporting schedules for other asset and liability accounts
Review journal entries submitted by the finance team and upload into AccPac
Prepare monthly provision for bad debts and calculation for obsolete stock – Assist with audit queries on a regular basis
Carrying adhoc duties as and when required by management.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Education – Minimum South African Matric – BCom degree Financial Accounting or equivalent
Language – Fluent English Experience
Minimum 2 years industry experience in a medium sized company
Minimum 2 years balance sheet recon and investigation of reconciling items experience – Minimum 1 year AccPac (Sage 300) experience
Proficient in all MS Office packages Behavioural Competencies
Good communication skills
Trustworthy and ethical

Must be a team player
