The general purpose of the job: We are looking for a human resources intern to perform various administrative tasks and support the daily activities of our human resources department.
Duties and responsibilities:
Update our internal databases with information on new hires, including contact details and employment forms.
Prepare HR-related reports as needed
Participate in the organization of company events and professional conferences.
Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees.
Cross-collaborate with the team to improve department operations.
Assist with administration related to human resources.
Plan and coordinate events or HR functions.
Maintain an effective filing system and update the internal human resources database.
Assist with the BBB-EE annual audit process.
Assist with the implementation of organizational development and employee wellness initiatives.
Assist the HR Manager and the Transformation Executive with ad hoc projects.
Receive HR-related inquiries and refer employees to the appropriate team member.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
A minimum of N6 / Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources / Industrial Psychology or related field
Mastery of Ms. Office: Essential Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize important projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail.
Work well in a team and be able to push forward individual tasks / projects.
The ability to multitask will be key to this role.
Understanding of labor laws BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, BBB-EE
