About the role

Essity is a leading global hygiene and health company that develops products and solutions for the manufacture and sale of health and medical products, consumer tissue and professional hygiene products and solutions with a strong global presence.

Essity offers a 12 month learning program to seven (7) individuals who will work in various departments in our Pinetown factory e.g. factory, supply chain, warehouse, quality, etc. Our learning program aims to develop young talent seeking for professional and personal growth.

What are you going to do?

Roles and responsibilities are assigned based on the departmental placement appropriate for the learning and development focus area. You will gain practical knowledge of Essity as a company and you will learn how to meet high business demands, with lasting proactive and results-oriented qualities within a diverse workforce and high-performance culture. This opportunity provides you with a compact basis to further develop and succeed in your career, during the learning process you will be offered guidance and mentorship.

Requirements:

All applicants must have successfully completed Grade 12 (Matric);
A tertiary qualification in the following areas would be an added advantage; Supply Chain / Project Management / Analytical Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Administration;
Must not have worked full time (more than 1 year);
Willing and able to work in a production environment;
Competencies:

An energetic, self-starter who will be able to handle multifaceted situations, is committed to excellence and has a great willingness to learn;
Someone who will live and embrace our beliefs and behaviors;
Good communication skills both written and oral;
Able to work well in a team and individually;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
