Swift Kathu is looking for diesel mechanics

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12
• Qualified in Diesel Mechanic / Mechanic of Earth Moving Equipment
• Machine-specific technical knowledge and skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Drafting of basic technical reports
• Basic business and financial understanding
• Computer knowledge about SIS, STW, ET
• Problem and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of the applicable product, failure analysis, customer orientation
HOMEWORK:
• Perform failed and planned repairs, services and maintenance on earthmoving equipment and components in accordance with supplier standards and customer requirements.
• Quickly and efficiently diagnose machine systems and perform repairs, services, and maintenance on earthmoving equipment at customer sites.
• Collect accurate reports and analysis from the customer’s machine, including Machine Inspection Reports (MIR) and Technical Analysis Reports (TA)
• Ensure safe work practices
• Own administration control, labor reserve, service reports, part returns, expenses
• Comply to ensure that the quality and productivity standards of one’s work are constantly and accurately maintained.
