If you’re a young South African eager to break into the world of Information Technology, here’s your chance to make it happen! The CAPACITI IT Demand Learnership Programme 2025 is now accepting applications, and it could be the launchpad to your dream career in tech.
This full-time, skills-driven programme will take place in Cape Town and runs over a period of 6 to 12 months. It is specially designed to develop the digital skills that are in high demand across South Africa and the world — no prior IT experience needed, just passion, commitment, and the drive to learn!
💻 What Is the CAPACITI IT Learnership?
The CAPACITI Learnership is a structured, intensive training initiative aimed at preparing unemployed youth for the dynamic tech industry. With a strong blend of theory, hands-on learning, mentorship, and career coaching, the programme ensures that you’re not only industry-ready but also job-ready.
Participants will explore one of several high-demand IT streams, learning directly from industry experts and participating in real-world projects to build their experience and professional portfolio.

📝 Minimum Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen, aged between 18 and 34
- Have a minimum qualification of NQF Level 4 (or equivalent)
- Be currently unemployed
- Have basic computer literacy (understanding of software, hardware, or networking)
- Possess strong communication skills
- Be available to attend Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 for the full programme duration
- Have no criminal record or adverse credit history
