MSF South Africa is looking for an Access Campaign Advocacy Intern with good planning and administrative skills, high flexibility and the ability to work under pressure with competing priorities and get results.
Access Campaign Promotion Intern
The candidate must have a [passion for humanitarian work and development.
The intern will assist the Access Campaign Promotion Officer with administrative tasks, as well as research in the area of intellectual property and other issues related to access, the collection and compilation of strategic information and assistance in the organization of events, campaigns and work related to promotion. .
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum university graduate or graduate student.
Preferably studying / studied Public Health, Development Studies, International Relations or Political Science, Law, or with demonstrable interest in working in the field of Health Policy Analysis and Defense.
Knowledge of local and regional barriers to access to treatment, such as intellectual property, prices, shortages, and other systemic issues.
Interest in national and global health policies and organizations, especially related to HIV and / or access to treatment.
Knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point essential
Professional telephone manner, tact, and excellent networking and negotiation skills.
Creative and highly flexible work approach, and ability to work in a team, multitasking and good stress management skills and ability to deal with a large workload at specific times.
Creative skills in social networks
