Salary: R163,680 – R192,810 per annum (based on experience and qualifications)
Type of Appointment: Permanent, subject to a performance agreement

Minimum Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
A minimum of Grade 10 or an equivalent qualification such as ABET Level 4.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Junior Cleaner, your responsibilities will play a vital role in the day-to-day functioning of the Department. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring that offices, corridors, toilets, and other public spaces are kept clean, sanitary, and safe at all times
- Performing deep cleaning of workspaces including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning
- Assisting in the upkeep and maintenance of cleaning equipment and ensuring that materials are used economically and responsibly
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the relevant supervisor
- Supporting other general office assistance tasks when required
- Complying with health and safety regulations, and adhering to departmental cleaning standards and policies
This position is essential in maintaining the high standards expected in a public service environment and contributes directly to the well-being of employees and visitors alike.
