Dis-Chem, a leading name in South African pharmacy retail, is currently offering Dispensary Support Internships through a structured learnership programme. This programme not only provides hands-on work experience in a pharmacy environment but also offers the chance to study toward a Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualification—a crucial first step into the pharmaceutical profession.
With over 18,500 full-time and part-time employees nationwide, Dis-Chem is deeply invested in building the future of pharmacy in South Africa. As part of their commitment to skills development and empowerment, they are inviting aspiring healthcare professionals to join their team through this internship initiative.
About the Programme: Dispensary Support and Basic Pharmacist Assistant Training
This learnership is registered and accredited with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC). It is designed to give learners both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in pharmacy operations. Participants will be placed in temporary positions within Dis-Chem pharmacies while they study for and complete the Basic Pharmacist Assistant course.
