Description
A national law firm with offices in Umhlanga is seeking a mid level Personal Assistant / Senior Legal Secretary. Tasks include both interpersonal responsibilities and administrative duties, and a well-rounded individual is most likely to succeed in the role. Responsibilities include:

Drafting legal documents when requested, including subpoenas, motions, and summonses
Filing case documents in an organized manner for easy access
Communicating with potential clients or other attorney’s offices via email, over the phone, or in person
Sending faxes, arranging legal messenger services and making copies of legal documents
Preparing documents and case files for attorney use in court
Managing office supplies and ordering replacements when required
Booking meetings and coordinating diaries of two main attorneys in the office
General admin and personal assistant duties, as well as office administration
Must have own car or reliable transport and be available to commence duties immediately.
This position will be as a senior secretary to one director, as well as assist other attorneys from time to time and as and when necessary.

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications : Secretarial diploma / Paralegal diploma or administration certificate

Experience 2-5 years’ experience in a law firm (non negotiable)

Salary market related plus pension
