Job description

MANAGER-IN-TRAINING (ENGINEERING), Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for the position of Manager-In Training (MIT) in Illovo Sugar South Africa (Pty) Ltd in various engineering disciplines.

Who should apply?

Graduates from previously disadvantaged groups who have completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) OR a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in the following fields:

Electrical Engineering (Luminous Flux)
Mechanical engineering
Chemical technology
Minimum Admission Criteria:

Matric Senior Certificate with Mathematics, Physics and English
A relevant technical BSc or BTech degree
South African Citizenship
Important information:

The program is well structured and offers graduates the opportunity to gain experience through the practical application of their studies.
This program is offered over a period of up to three years.
Upon successful completion of the program and subject to satisfactory performance, interns may be appointed as first-line managers or middle managers.
Recruitment and selection will be conducted in accordance with Illovo SA’s labor capacity targets.
