Requirements
Appropriate 3 year grade B
1-2 years in human resources administrator or relevant experience
Experience working with HR systems (SuccessFactor) will be an added advantage
Fluent English language ability
Solid knowledge of human resources practices and procedures.
Business knowledge and understanding of the impact of human resources on other business functions.
Knowledge of and experience working with typical Operations roles
Solid knowledge of the appropriate employment legislation, eg Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labor Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills and being a “team player” are essential.
High level of attention to detail, deep analytical skills, rational decision making, objectivity, planning and organization.

POSITIONING OF THE ROLE AND OBJECTIVES

Support HR operations with HR administrative services and serve to ensure alignment between HR strategy and business unit and delivery of appropriate support functions to people.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

The role will act as a liaison between the HRBP and assigned functions, ensuring a high level of excellence in service and support.
Engage and advise line managers regarding practices, policies and procedures related to human resources and enhance the established business relationship.
Coordinate and co-facilitate the career development and succession planning processes for the assigned functions through:
Preparation and support for functional Talent Sop/TRM.
Take follow-up actions as a result of Talent Sop
Compilation of resource needs based on Talent Sop
Providing inputs to the consolidated functional Talent Sop
Follow-up of action plans based on the results of Talent Sop
Support the HRBP in facilitating performance management processes (performance planning, monitoring and review) for assigned functions to improve performance culture.
Support the HRBP in communicating, assisting, and consulting with line managers regarding IR issues to ensure fair employment practices and positive morale.
Coordinate and co-facilitate employee lifecycle management ensuring compliance with BAT policies and procedures.
In consultation with Senior HRBP, assists in the development and implementation of strategies to incorporate common HR platforms and best practices that will ensure self-sufficiency in the local context.
Participates fully as a project member in human resource projects identified for the Area.
Management of organization charts and monitoring of HC
Support the Diversity and Inclusion pillar of the business
Provides administrative support to HR business partner in Employment Equity and BBBEE
Provide administrative support to HR business partner in OD renewal processes, e.g. restructuring
