The Eskom Pension and Provident Fund (EPPF) provides pension fund management services for EPPF members. EPPF membership comprises serving members, deferred pensioners, pensioners, and beneficiaries.
We offer our affiliates and pensioners administration and investment management services. These in-house services allow us to benefit from economies of scale by getting the best advice in the industry, gaining access to leading systems, and keeping costs low for our members.
Management
The administration services provide information on the pensions of the affiliates through various communication channels:
Maintains your personal and contribution records;
Manages your pension if you decide to defer your pension;
Processes your claims when you retire, resign, and in the event of illness or death;
Safeguards and manages funds owed to your beneficiaries and dependents in the event of your death; Y
Ensures legal compliance and compliance with corporate governance guidelines in the administration of your pension fund.
Investment Management
Allocates pension fund assets to investment products to ensure your pension grows.
Formulates an investment strategy for the Fund and implements it in a way that seeks to achieve the best results for members, pensioners and beneficiaries;
Manages the risks of investing to protect the interests of affiliates and pensioners; Y
Formulates a socially responsible investment strategy to ensure that environmental, social and governance issues are part of the decision-making process without compromising investment growth.
