Learnership Description
ArcelorMittal South Africa is offering training opportunities to individuals in possession of grade 12 certificates to be trained as a Process Operator focusing on the Steel Manufacturing Process.
The training program is based on a structured outcome-based approach which includes institutional and on-the-job training. Regular assessment and progress monitoring will form an integral part of the learnership program. Opportunities are available across our Vanderbijlpark and Vereeniging Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Commit to and successfully complete the learnership as required
- Ensure a healthy and safe work environment
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and legislation
Requirements:
- Grade 12 Qualification with English and (Mathematics or Maths Lit)
- Physical Science would be advantageous
- A team player who can also work independently
- Driven, highly self-motivated
- An agile thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
- Great attention to detail and an aptitude for engineering
