Training in Production of Basic Metals in SAMANCOR
An exciting opportunity has been made available for 5 basic metal production skills apprentices to join Samancor Middelburg’s ferrochrome smelting operation in Mpumalanga for a fixed period of 6 months.
Perfect candidates will have a Grade 12/N3 with Mathematics and Science. Candidates are expected to complete both theory and practice related to the training programme.
Minimum Qualifications:
Grade 12 / N3 / N3 which is equivalent to a Grade 12/Matric
Mathematics/Physical Sciences/Engineering Sciences with a minimum of 60%
Proof of qualification to attach and certify
You will undergo a medical examination.
It will be necessary to undergo a psychometric evaluation, eye-hand coordination test
Applicant must be from Middelburg
Valid driver’s license (minimum B / Code 8)
HOW TO APPLY
Training will be conducted through a SETA accredited training provider
The training in Basic Production Skills will last 6 months. Candidates will attend both practice and theory and upon successful completion of the program will receive a certificate.
An allowance will be paid during the program.
