Programme Overview

This is a 6-month full-time fixed-term contract structured to provide intensive on-the-job training, mentorship, and exposure to real-world vehicle sales processes. You will work closely with experienced professionals in our Cape Town dealerships to understand customer engagement, vehicle finance options, stock management, test drive procedures, and the full end-to-end vehicle sales cycle.


Key Responsibilities

As a Trainee Vehicle Sales Executive, your role will include but not be limited to:

  • Participating in structured training sessions on sales techniques, product knowledge, and dealership operations
  • Assisting sales teams with day-to-day customer interactions and sales activities
  • Learning how to conduct customer needs assessments and vehicle demonstrations
  • Supporting administrative functions related to sales, finance applications, and customer documentation
  • Understanding the key performance indicators for successful vehicle sales
  • Contributing to a customer-first culture by maintaining high levels of service and professionalism
  • Building product knowledge on various vehicle models and specifications

This is a hands-on role designed to prepare you for a potential long-term career in the automotive sales industry.


Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must have completed a Matric/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Possess a valid South African driver’s license (non-negotiable)
  • Computer literate and comfortable with basic digital tools and systems
  • Must have a clear criminal and credit record
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a high-performance, customer-focused environment
