About the Learnership Programme
In collaboration with the Youth Employment Service (YES), Takealot is proud to offer a 12-month learnership designed to empower South African youth by providing hands-on training and work exposure. The programme specifically targets unemployed youth from various communities, including townships and urban areas across Gauteng, offering them the skills needed to thrive in the digital economy.
Learnership Details:
- Job Title: Digital Marketing Learnership
- Location: Multiple locations throughout Gauteng, with a focus on township and urban centres
- Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
- Start Date: Immediate placement for successful candidates
- Stipend: R5,500 per month
- Duration: 12 months (fixed-term contract)
- Employer: Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) partnered with Takealot Marketplace – learnerships are hosted by these businesses, not directly with Takealot

Who Should Apply?
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must have a National Senior Certificate (Matric)
- Be proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Reside within 49 kilometers of the designated job location
- Have a clear criminal record
- Be willing to commit fully to the 12-month, full-time learnership
