About the Internship Programme

Key Responsibilities
As a Strategy and Research Intern, your daily tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and analysing data to support various research and strategic projects.
- Conducting literature reviews and synthesising key insights to inform organisational planning.
- Assisting in the preparation of research reports, summaries, presentations, and official documentation.
- Supporting the verification and validation of organisational performance information.
- Coordinating cross-departmental communication to ensure alignment on strategic goals.
- Assisting with the planning, implementation, and tracking of strategic initiatives and milestones.
- Handling administrative responsibilities such as managing calendars, scheduling meetings, processing travel logistics, and maintaining correspondence.
- Participating in qualifications development projects and supporting chamber-related operations.
- Maintaining and updating departmental records, databases, and internal documentation systems.
- Ensuring adherence to organisational deadlines, internal workflows, and compliance processes.
- Managing general office duties, including filing systems, minute-taking, agenda preparation, and call handling.
Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for this internship opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 4.
- Possess a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in one of the following fields:
- Internal Auditing
- Business Administration
- Public Administration or Public Management
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Social Sciences (with a focus on Research)
