About the Programme

Programme Streams
1. Client Services Stream
Graduates joining this stream will become part of Coronation’s Personal Investments division. This team plays a crucial role in delivering a high standard of service to clients, financial advisers, and walk-in customers. The aim is to ensure excellent client satisfaction through responsive, informed, and professional interactions.
Responsibilities may include:
- Responding to client inquiries via telephone, email, and in-person consultations
- Addressing product-related queries on retirement funds, life products, and unit trusts
- Guiding clients through the use of Coronation’s online platforms and tools
- Ensuring all interactions comply with industry regulations such as FAIS, FICA, and relevant data protection requirements
- Contributing to a seamless client experience through attention to detail and problem-solving
2. Validations Stream
Graduates in the Validations team will focus on verifying the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of client transactions. This team plays a vital role in protecting both the firm and its clients by upholding regulatory and operational standards.
Responsibilities may include:
- Validating client transactions and ensuring they meet internal and external compliance requirements
- Reviewing adviser applications, checking licensing and documentation accuracy
- Contacting clients directly to confirm and verify investment instructions
- Maintaining up-to-date digital records and ensuring data accuracy within internal systems
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless execution of transactions
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Coronation Client Excellence Graduate Internship Programme, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a South African citizen
- Have recently completed or be in the final year of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant commerce-related field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Business Science, Law, Economics, Investment Management, or similar)
- Have no prior full-time work experience (this is an entry-level graduate programme)
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to high-quality service
- Possess a willingness to learn, show initiative, and work well in a collaborative environment
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and general digital literacy will be advantageous
