Description of the practices

The Competition Commission is in search of top-tier Graduates to join our 2023 Cadet Training Program for a period of 24 months.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the field of Competition Law and Economics while making a difference in our economy, by helping to realize the Competition Commission’s Vision 2030 of “Growing a decentralized and inclusive economy.” “for all South Africans.

Upon successful completion of the program, cadets can apply for growth opportunities within the Commission.

Job Title: Cadets-Level 1: Legal and Economics

Stipend: R 223,078.04 p.a.

Duration: 2-year contract

Requirements:

You must be a South African citizen.
No previous work experience in the same field.
A full honors bachelor’s degree in economics or LLB, and a comparatively good academic record average.
A Master’s in Economics or a Master’s in Law will be added as an advantage, with an average academic grade above 70%.
