Association for the Physically Challenged, provides comprehensive and essential services to adults and children with physical disabilities at no charge, throughout the KwaZulu-Natal province. Our services are provided to people with disabilities and their families from deep urban to rural communities, including Dundee, Kokstad, Newcastle, Pietermaritzburg, South Natal, Vryheid, Zululand, and Durban. Many of our clients come from disadvantaged communities and have little access to the services they need. Our staff travel long distances to offer assistance and improve the lives of our clients throughout the KwaZulu-Natal province.
The Association for People with Physical Disabilities is seeking to appoint an administrative assistant / receptionist at the Sherwood main office.
Requirements:
General administrative and secretarial skills
A minimum of five years of experience.
Excellent telephone, communication and interpersonal skills
Good computer skills
Work full day on occasion if necessary to do so.
Driver’s license and own vehicle
Responsibilities:
Reception
Engaging with members of the Association’s staff, public, and clients
receive and direct phone calls accordingly
general correspondence
Photocopying, faxing and general office tasks.
