About the Opportunity
The Western Cape Government, through the Department of the Premier, invites applications from highly motivated and suitably qualified individuals to apply for the role of Administration Clerk: Talent Sourcing. This position is situated within the Directorate: Recruitment and Selection and plays a vital role in supporting talent acquisition efforts across the provincial government. As part of this role, you will be entrusted with a range of administrative responsibilities, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless recruitment processes. You will play an important support role in the execution of policies and procedures that guide recruitment and selection across the organisation.

Core Responsibilities
Your key duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative support within the Talent Sourcing component of the Recruitment and Selection Directorate.
- Liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate recruitment processes.
- Performing general HR administrative duties such as record-keeping, document processing, and correspondence management.
- Maintaining and updating recruitment databases and ensuring accuracy of all entered information.
- Capturing and managing expenditure and other component-related data.
- Supporting compliance with recruitment and selection policies, guidelines, and relevant human resource protocols.
- Assisting in the coordination and preparation of documentation required for interviews and appointments.
- Supporting the use and management of e-recruitment systems and online platforms.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:
- A Grade 12 Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
Additional Recommendations (Not Compulsory but Advantageous)
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Work experience within a recruitment or human resources environment.
- Previous exposure to or experience with electronic recruitment systems.
- A valid Code B (or higher) driver’s license.

- Solid computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Remuneration and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive an annual salary within the range of R228 321 to R268 950 (based on salary level 5), along with service-related benefits as applicable under Western Cape Government policy and public service regulations. These benefits may include medical assistance, pension contributions, housing assistance, and other allowances where applicable.
