Position Overview

The successful candidates will be tasked with delivering efficient, courteous service to customers visiting the VKB Fuels forecourt. This includes refueling vehicles, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, balancing sales, and ensuring that all customer interactions reflect the values of VKB Fuels.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• A completed Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification.
• A valid Code 14 Driver’s License accompanied by a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Demonstrated numeracy skills and the ability to perform calculations accurately.
• Proven ability to remain calm and perform well under pressure.
• A clean criminal record is mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to be both precise and accurate in all aspects of the role.

Key Responsibilities

As a Fuel Attendant at VKB Fuels, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Dispensing fuel and lubricants to customers in accordance with their vehicle needs and stated requests.
• Ensuring each customer receives prompt, friendly, and efficient service throughout their visit.
• Reconciling fuel sales at the end of each shift and balancing cash and card transactions accurately.
• Identifying and investigating any discrepancies in sales or stock, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards at the fuel station, including the proper handling of flammable materials.
• Assisting with minor customer inquiries and supporting overall operations during high-traffic periods.
• Ensuring full compliance with VKB’s safety, health, and environmental procedures.
