Table Mountain National Park
Description:
Currently there are vacancies for 38 Tourism Monitors in the Social Biodiversity Projects of the Table Mountain National Park. The total compensation package is a basic salary according to the Expanded Public Works Program rate of R190.00 per day.
Successful candidates will be required to provide their own accommodation / travel as there is no official accommodation in the park.

Requirements:
Matrix / Grade 12 / NCV Level 4
The National Diploma related to the relevant environmental field would be advantageous
Age between 18 and 35 years
Proficiency in the English language and any other local language.
Preference will be given to applicants from local communities.
Clear criminal record.
Computer skills (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Computer literacy levels (MS Word, Excel) will be assessed when appropriate
Approval of the aptitude test that includes (depending on the implementation activities):
2.4 km of running in 12 minutes or less
Ability to do 30 push-ups and 30 sit-ups in less than a minute
Selected candidates are granted an interview.
The successful candidate will have to undergo a medical fitness, polygraph (where applicable) through a physician.
Availability to work flexible hours, p. Eg weekends, holidays when necessary
