Description of the internship

This is a twelve (12) month training program to gain experience in logistics and supply chain management.

Job Title: Supply Chain Trainee

Job responsibilities:

Monitor and review customer backorder lines
Work with stakeholders to review and update planning parameters.
Use problem-solving skills to assist the materials and supply chain teams.
Support with the inventory management process of the inventory owed by the client and make recommendations
Communicate issues affecting the department or organization to OTC management in a timely manner
Review, codify and institutionalize best practices reinforced by standard operating procedures
Provide daily support to the business operations team.
Explore lean and effective recommendations and document standard operating procedures
Requirements:

Diploma or full degree in: supply chain, financial accounting or similar areas
High performance
Assertiveness and analytical thinker.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Selected candidates will receive training on:

Supply chain and warehouse management
Gain experience in logistics, distribution and customer service.
Planning and quality assurance
Interpersonal communication skills
Intellectual skills
Organizational and management skills
