Conservation South Africa currently has a vacancy for a Program Administrative Assistant to support Africa Field Division (AfFD) staff working in South Africa. This is a 12-month contract position with renewal dependent on availability and performance of funding.
CSA is seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to the Africa Field Division Program based in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:
Manage senior staff journals as needed
Appointment booking for CI regional staff
Prepare EFT for any service provider used by the AfFD team to ensure timely payment for services and facilities.
Assist with the reconciliation of per diem and other travel advances and entry into the electronic claims system
Assist with meeting setup and boardroom reservations when needed
Take minutes at events and meetings as needed
Draft and type correspondence
Coordinate logistics for events and workshops.
Help staff book and plan trips using preferred travel provider
Help complete and submit travel documentation.
Develop and maintain an orderly and systematic electronic and manual filing system.
Make sure office equipment is fully operational
Help complete and submit timesheets
Manage the completion, collection and submission of license forms.
Assist with the acquisition and hiring of consultants as needed
Liaise with project staff and support project managers as needed
Requirements:
Grade 12 with training in secretarial functions and tertiary education in administration or administration;
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience;
Contactable references
Experience in MS Office programs, including knowledge of spreadsheets;
Good administrative and interpersonal skills;
Ability to handle pressure and dynamics to change;
Valid driver’s license.
