REQUIREMENTS: An appropriate national diploma (NQF 6) or a three (3) year degree (NQF 7) in Public Relations, Advertising and Communications or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA. Must have good organizational and communication skills, source ads and advertiser liaison, sourcing, general management, and freelance information. Acquisition of appropriate images and photographs for publications. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must be highly motivated with an eye for detail, excellent coordination, and analytical skills. Experience in information dissemination on social media platforms in the dissemination of information. Excellent report writing skills and willingness to work after hours when needed
RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be required to plan, film, and edit high-quality photographs or video content. Search for images and photographs suitable for publications. Collaborate with the editorial team on the overall appearance of all design products to ensure that the overall appearance is in accordance with GCIS product development guidelines. He works as a photographer / graphic designer on various products reportedly. Conceptualize and manage the visual execution of all photography and design reports. Liaise with playback houses, feature film writers, sub-publishers, advertisers, and printing companies on production-related matters. Assist with updating the website when necessary. Responsible for archiving all images and publications produced, accordingly, for future access. Assist with updating social media accounts when necessary. Quality control of the production of all designer products.
