REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or equivalent. One year experience as an operator. Good interpersonal
and communication skills. Must be able to cope with the physical demands of the

DUTIES: Responsible for ensuring that the instruments and equipment received are complete
and in good working order. Responsible for the cleaning, packaging and autoclaving of
instruments and non-instrument packages. Issue and receive instruments and
team students and keep records. Pack and check receive sterile in
shelves. Unpack clean bedding from the laundry room. Pack cotton and gauze. To help
with statistics of sets used. To wash, pack and sterilize used equipment. Issue and
receive dresses. Clean automatic keys. Work under supervision under supervision.
