Personal Assistant

Leaders in the construction industry are looking for a paralegal personal assistant to join their team. Strong knowledge in Commercial Law, drafting of Commercial Contracts.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of assigned legal projects of moderate complexity. Acts as legal advisor on matters related to the company’s compliance with moderately complex regulatory standards. Reviews legal documentation and provides advice on appropriate actions. Coordinate legal matters that require outside legal assistance. Responsible for the administration of the legal activities of the parent company. Duties include office services, company secretarial duties, etc. You may have some financial reporting responsibilities, that is, contract anniversary increase negotiations.

Duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:
° Supervise and manage the daily legal affairs of the office.
° Develop and optimize processes and procedures in all departments as part of the supervisory responsibility in accordance with operational requirements.
° Work with finance to manage the procurement process from start to finish, including the preparation of requests for proposals, the pre-selection of service providers, the negotiation of prices, etc.
° Maintains relationships with service providers and manages compliance with service level agreements.
° Analyze and review joint venture structures.
° Develops, analyzes and implements the legal regulations
framework of the organization in relation to collaboration agreements.
° Manages and oversees organization-wide record keeping and storage of agreements, contracts, and other critical documentation.
° Make sure storage is safe.
° Maintains relationships with service providers and manages compliance with service level agreements.
° Analyze and review joint venture structures.
° Develops, analyzes and implements the legal framework of the organization in relation to association agreements.
° Updates the shared drives index and ensures that documentation is valid and easily accessible.
° Meets with people involved in legal processes to provide information and clarify problems.
° Prepare documentation of judicial processes.
° Prepares and engages with external service providers on litigation matters. ° Analyze and review drafts.
° Provides legal advice to the entire organization.
° Helps coordinate and implement disciplinary procedures and actions.
° He is responsible for the efficient administration of the company, particularly with regard to ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and ensuring that the decisions of the board of directors are implemented.

Experience and qualification:
Matric (Grade 12)
° Minimum 5 years of experience in legal environment
° Paralegal or related qualification
° Strong verbal and written communication skills
° Excellent time management skills
° Computer skills: command of Word and Excel
° Problem solving skills
° Ability to work independently when preparing legal documents
° Punctual and presentable
° Must be able to work under pressure and adapt to a multifunctional work environment
