Job description

The Moses Kotane Institute is looking for suitably qualified KZN youth (aged 18-35) to help collect data for research. The Moses Kotane Institute is looking for suitably qualified unemployed KZN graduates to collect data for research purposes. The opportunity will be matched to various research projects from time to time during the contract period.

The following opportunities/positions are open to applications:

Requirements:

Minimum NQF level 6.
NQF Level 7 and above will be an added advantage.
Data Collection Supervisor

Requirements:

Minimum NQF level 9.
NQF Level 10 will be an added advantage.
Access and ability to control a smart mobile device.
Appointment conditions:

NQF level 6 – R323 per day,
NQF level 7- R461 per day,
NQF level 8 – R600 per day,
NQF level 9 – R738 per day,
NQF Level 10 – R876 per day.
NB. Unemployed graduates will be part of a pool of graduates who will be assigned projects from time to time during the contract period. Graduates must indicate the department where they currently or usually reside to facilitate project assignment.

Responsibilities:

Data Collector Responsibilities:

Conduct the data collection process ethically and in accordance with all reasonable instructions from the MKI (i.e. go door to door to collect information from individuals and/or households; use the work tools assigned for data collection).

A driver’s license older than 3 years is an additional advantage.
