An apprenticeship is defined as a work-based path to learning and earning qualifications. It includes both structured work experience and structured theory learning.

Apprenticeships offer a delivery method where education and training can better meet the needs of employers, learners, and the social and economic needs of South Africa.

Some of the labor market issues that apprenticeships seek to address are:

The decline in employment levels in South Africa;
Unequal access to education, training and employment opportunities;

The skills shortage in the workplace among those entering the workforce.
We offer various apprenticeships in different streams.
