We produce high-quality iron ore, the key component of steel widely used in construction and manufacturing throughout the world. Our activities include all aspects: exploration; mining; processing and mixing; Shipment; marketing and sales. In South Africa, we have mining operations in the Northern Cape province, as well as a head office in Centurion, Gauteng, and a port operation in Saldanha Bay, Western Cape.
Work description:
We have a great opportunity for you to join our extraordinary team at Sishen Mine in a three-year craft learning enrichment program.
Our three-year craft apprenticeship program is an enrichment program for the community and will allow you to develop classroom and on-the-job skills / basic training at the Sishen Mine. This program will allow you to maximize your potential along with a personalized plan that will provide you with a future to make a difference. As you progress through your artisan apprenticeship program, we will help you discover your real ability and develop your skills as a craftsman.
Training programs for artisan apprentices:
1st year: Institutional training in Sivos, Technical Training Center.
2nd year: On-the-job / basic training at the Sishen mine.
3rd year: full commercial test

You will need to have the following:
Minimum requirement N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, Trade Theory of Assembly and Machining and Engineering Drawings as subjects
