HR Administrator


Our client is looking for a HR Administrator. This role is responsible for a wide range of HR tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices and experience in all aspects of the HR function.

Responsibilities:
Employee Data Management:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).

Ensure the confidentiality and security of all employee information.

Process new employee onboarding and facilitate documentation completion.

Leave and Attendance Management:

Manage employee attendance records and maintain leave balances.

Process leave requests and ensure compliance with company policies and labour laws.

Recruitment Support:

Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.

Coordinate candidate assessments, reference checks, and background screenings.

Benefits Administration:

Support benefits enrollment and changes, and assist employees with pension and medical aid administration and queries

Liaise with benefits providers and ensure accurate administration of our medical aid and pension fund

Payroll Assistance:

Provide payroll input by updating employee information and other payroll-related details.

Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

HR Documentation and Compliance:

Maintain and update HR documents, policies, and procedures.

Ensure compliance with South African labour laws and company policies in all HR activities.

Address basic employee queries and concerns related to HR policies and procedures.

Training and Development:

Assist in coordinating training sessions, workshops, and development programs for employees.

Track and monitor employee training progress and completion

Key Skills:

Computer literate

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work under pressure/ stress management

Self motivated

Valid driver’s license

Time management skills

Knowledge of Mining Industry (beneficial)

Adaptability

Qualifications:

Relevant Degree/Diploma in Human Resources

Minimum of 3 years experience Proven experience (3 years) as an HR

Administrator or similar role, preferably in a medium-sized company with 100

employees.
