Job description

Function purpose:

As a LOC Quality Graduate, you will be responsible for providing effective and efficient support of quality assurance systems to the LOC Quality Manager, including supporting the implementation and maintenance of the QMS and, as directed by the LOC Quality Manager, carry out day-to-day work to ensure that the quality systems required by the LOC element of the Supply Chain and Marketing Company LOC are implemented in a lean and efficient manner and meet the compliance standards of the QMS and the Local Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA).

Responsibilities:

Maintain a high level of QMS knowledge and awareness of change within the commercial environment to seek out opportunities and manage potential business setbacks.
Support the LOC Quality Manager to ensure a robust, sustainable and effective QMS (Quality Management System) by monitoring and assessing compliance status within the LOC element of the Supply Chain and South Africa Marketing Company.
Support the implementation and maintenance of effective quality assurance systems to ensure that local operations are fully compliant with GSK standards and policies, the Commercial Business Guide, GMP, GDP and regulatory requirements by supporting the LOC quality manager as directed
Ensure all SOPs are in place, updated, and company-wide training. Provide training compliance monitoring system and ongoing non-compliance escalation process. Processes for providing routine training for updates of SOPs, GQPs and GQMPs as relevant.
Promote the QMS management principles and strive for continuous improvement of the processes
Evaluate, perform impact assessments and implement any updates to the QMS policy
Support the LOC Quality Manager to ensure that all internal procedures and systems used in the LOC comply with GSK QMS, Guide for Commercial Companies and local legal requirements
Required Qualifications:

BSc – Scientific tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
Competencies:

Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Problem identification and resolving power
Ability to work effectively in English
Self-starter, able to schedule and claim the workload by yourself
Knowledge of legal requirements related to GMP/GDP
Knowledge of effective quality documentation systems
