As a finance graduate, you will be responsible for South African (SA) payment processing, month-end reporting, assistance with activity planning, and all other day-to-day requirements.

You will also ensure that quality financial processes, systems and tools are introduced and maintained to support business, cross-functional teams.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Proactive follow-up with distributors, regarding pending documents.
Prepare ledger postings that accurately reflect the nature of the transaction for completed payments and submit them in a timely manner to the Shared Financial Services team.
Preparation of monthly Aspen journals, including acknowledgment of sales.
Preparation of monthly headcount report.
Preparation of Advertising and Promotion (A&P) spend tracker and Opex tracker on a monthly basis
Assist the commercial partner of SA Finance with the monthly forecast and the annual budget of personnel, capex and depreciation of new capex.
Ensure SOPs/Knowledge Documents are in place to support systems and processes.
Completion and acknowledgment of relevant SOPs and eLearning
Maintain ERP data in SAP
Prepare and participate in analyzes and ad hoc projects as required.
Ensure adequate financial control systems and processes are in place
Ad-hoc data analysis
Partner with companies to explain SG&A expense variances
Required Qualifications:

Minimum BCom (Accounting), Preferably completing CIMA qualification
MS Office experience (good working knowledge of Excel)
Competencies:

Understanding of financial and managerial accounting concepts
Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines on time
Ability to quickly grasp concepts and take ownership of their own learning.
Show initiative proactively seeking solutions to challenges.
Must be able to work overtime when needed
Good spoken and written English
