Role Driver Facility Life St. Mary’s Private Hospital Position Driver Introduction

There is a vacancy for a Driver at St Mary’s Private Hospital, Mthatha. This position reports to the Engineering Manager, Zithulele Hleko. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting patients to other hospitals, transporting staff to workshops and other relevant trips, transporting patients during field trips, delivery duties, and performing other relevant duties as assigned.

Critical outputs

To perform the function of drivers in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Hospital and the law and road traffic regulations.

Prioritize the importance of the request

To inspect all cars on a daily basis, keep accurate records and report identified problems

Complete vehicle trip log book of all trips made

Make sure the driver’s license and vehicle license are valid and up-to-date

Responsible for reporting all maintenance and repair of company vehicles in a timely manner.

To successfully complete the Advanced Driver Training Course

Requirements

Grade 12.

You must have a valid driver’s license with code 08 and a PDP

Musk knows the surrounding areas.

Must be able to keep accurate records of distances traveled and fuel used

Must have proven driving experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Perform reservation tasks

Commitment to teamwork

Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Team player and very energetic.

Assistance after the wake-up call if necessary
